Hotel@Tzaneen Participated In The SAVF’s Hat Day

Hotel@Tzaneen participated in the SAVF’s Hat Day on Friday, 27 May 2022. Hotel management and staff let their creative juices flow and paraded their unique hats, as they went about their daily duties.  It was all fun and excitement, and Hotel@Tzaneen guests were left amused by hats made of steel wool and others of fake bank notes!

The Hat Day was a fund raising event organized by the Tzaneen branch of South African Veterinary Foundation (SAVF), a non-profit organization established in 1984. SAVF renders a number of services to children, families and the elderly.

Amongst others, the services rendered by the SAVF include early childhood development, child- and youth care in centres, foster care, safe homes, child protection, preventative and therapeutic programmes, empowerment of teenagers and mothers and fathers, family care, root enquiries, community programmes such as empowerment, skills development, poverty eradication, HIV programmes, employee health and wellness, aged care in homes, housing, luncheon clubs and home support services.
